hmm I think I would stress a good job.. are you edging as well? Maybe if they
refer a friend they get a free mow? Everyone loves a good deal these days.
Offer other services as well, weeding and Fall clean up , mulch, etc which you of course
charge for. I like it when I can hire somebody to do ALL that stuff.
Do you have local references? Lawns that you already mow ? Say “references available
upon request”
I am close to firing my guy at our weekend home, he refuses to pick up any branches
or do anything extra, I would glady pay him …lazy
What do you think? Answer below!

You should definitely offer some promotions, like have your lawn done twice, and get the third time free, or if you and a neighbor would like it, you can get one half off, etc…. use your imagination! Also a fabulous thing for you to do would be if you offer rubber mulch. Costumers will love the look, and on your part, its not messy and easy to put down. I think you’ll please a lot of costumers with that and good promotions. Lots of luck!!!
I think most people get things truly wrong when they make their lawn care flyers. They put their business name as the headline, followed with their phone number. Then they sit back and wait for the phone to ring of the hook….
Except it doesn’t!
Gasp! Shock! Horror!
Make sure you have a benefit orientated headline. I.e Tell them the benefit they will have from using your service!
Also you will find that flyers that require a direct response will have a much greater response rate.
I.e Have some sort of special offer that they must respond to now or they will miss out forever.
Don’t create a flyer just to build a brand! It must have a clear call to action as to what you want people to do next.
This article on lawn care flyers explains things in much greater detail.
